Admission Criteria

The Oriental Language Program starts in September

Registration

To enroll in the program, it is required to fill out the electronic registration form.

Fee

The fee of the program is 225 GEL per month. The first two months of tuition fee must be paid before the start and the second half after one month.

Duration and Schedule

The duration of one semester is 16 weeks. Lectures are held twice a week 2 - 2 hours.

Oriental Languages Program Description

The Oriental Languages Program includes the following languages:

  • Arabic - 5 semesters
  • Persian - 4 semesters
  • Turkish - 4 semesters
  • Japanese - 5 semesters
  • Korean - 4 semesters

The student chooses which subject he/she wants to learn.

The Oriental Languages program gives you the opportunity to study the language from the beginner level up to C1 (Advanced).

Teaching is done through the latest textbooks. Along with the basic teaching material, active use of audio and video material is provided to enhance reading, listening, and speaking skills.

Furthermore, students have the opportunity to engage in activities such as film screenings, themed evenings, and conferences. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will attain the necessary knowledge and skills to pursue high-level managerial positions within the country where the language is spoken.

Anyone can enroll in the program. If a student already has a certain level of the language, they can continue their studies from a higher level.

Lectures are conducted alongside undergraduate students. The courses are taught by Georgian specialists as well as invited experts from Eastern countries.

Certificate

Successful graduates will receive a Free University of Tbilisi certificate

International Exam and Certificate

Free University conducts international certificate exams in Korean (TOPIK) and Japanese (JLPT).

With this certificate, students have the opportunity to continue their studies at various universities in Korea and Japan, both in language courses, as well as in bachelor's and master's programs.
