About the Institute
Confucius Institute at the Free University of Tbilisi was founded in 2010 and represents a center of Chinese language and culture. With China's dynamic economic growth, the Chinese language has gained increasing popularity, attracting many individuals interested in either the language itself or Chinese culture.
Currently, the institute's partner university is Zhengzhou University, recognized as one of China’s first-class national universities and representing the province. The primary objective of the Confucius Institute is to foster a deeper understanding of China within Georgian society. It offers opportunities for individuals to learn the language and pursue internships in China.
Staffed with highly qualified Georgian and Chinese teachers, the institute also boasts a well-equipped library that greatly facilitates the study of Chinese language and culture. Additionally, it maintains close collaborations with various Chinese scientific, educational, and public organizations.
Operating within the Confucius Institute at the Free University of Tbilisi is an examination center for HSK, HSKK, and YCT, enabling individuals to take Chinese language proficiency exams and obtain internationally recognized certificates.

Furthermore, the Confucius Institute regularly hosts lectures by esteemed professors from leading Chinese universities at the Free University of Tbilisi. ჩინური ენის ფონეტიკის საფუძვლები (2022 - 2023)
ნაშრომი წარმოადგენს ჩინური ენის ფონეტიკური სისტემის კვლევას, საუბარია ფონეტიკაზე როგორც ფართო ცნებაზე, რომელიც მოიცავს ფონეტიკასაც და ფონოლოგიასაც, ანუ არა მხოლოდ ჩინურ ბგერათა ფიზიოლოგიურ და აკუსტიკურ ბუნებას, არამედ მათ ფუნქციებს ენობრივ სისტემაში და ბგერითი ელემენტების ურთიერთმიმართებებს.
