Chevening Scholarships is the UK government's global scholarship program, funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organizations. The program makes awards to outstanding students with leadership potential from around the world to study postgraduate courses at universities in the UK.
The program provides full or part funding for full-time courses at postgraduate level, normally a one-year Master's degree, in any subject and at any UK university.
Scholarships are targeted towards a broad range of fields and disciplines, however priority areas may vary slightly each year. For 2013/14, we welcomed applications from candidates who wished to study for a Master's degree in the following academic fields: Political and Social Studies, Law and Legal Studies, Governance, Conflict Resolution, Human Rights and, Democratic Reform, Media Development
