Bachelor’s Program in Business Administration - Description

The Business School (ESM) Bachelor's Program in Business Administration was developed taking into consideration the experiences renowned business schools at leading American and European universities.

The objective of the Bachelor's Program in Business Administration is to prepare professionals who are able to:

  • Establish professional relationships and effectively utilize management technologies and methods

Currently, the Free University of Tbilisi Bachelor's Program in Business Administration is the most sought-after among similar programs in Georgia's educational landscape. Its exceptional quality consistently draws applicants with top scores in the Unified National Exams.

Throughout the program, students learn fundamental principles of business management, the language of business and develop a market-oriented perspective on business and management. They acquire essential knowledge and skills in key functional areas of business, including management, finance and marketing, while also developing analytical tools necessary for effective problem-solving in business.

Upon successful completion of the 4-year program, the graduate is awarded the qualification - Bachelor of Business Administration.

ACCA Accreditation

CURRICULUM

The curriculum for the Bachelor's Program in Business Administration consists of 240 credits, allocated across the following modules:

  • University General Education - each student enrolled in the university's bachelor's programs, in addition to specialized subjects, also takes general subjects, contributing to the elevation of general education and the expansion of their field of interests. Within the framework of general subjects, students are introduced to individual branches of social sciences and humanities.
  • Foundational Education in the Field of Study - this module encompasses essential foundational subjects specific to business studies, such as Calculus, Excel, Data Analysis, Applied Statistics, Introduction to Digital Technologies, Introduction to Law, Sociology, Microeconomics and Macroeconomics.
  • Core Education in the Field of Study - this module comprises theoretical and practical courses in management, finance and marketing that are essential for the study of business administration.
  • Field of Study Electives - this module provides students with the opportunity to further explore various areas of business according to their individual interests.
  • Elective Courses - students have the flexibility to choose additional courses based on their interests. They also have the option to pursue an additional 15 credits of courses at no extra cost.

About The Business School

ESM (European School of Management) established in 1992, was integrated into the Free University of Tbilisi as a Business School in 2007.

The Free University of Tbilisi Business School is a flagship institution for business education in Georgia, boasting a stellar reputation both locally and across the wider Eastern European region. Graduates of the school hold prominent positions at local and international enterprises and lead various strategic projects.

The Business School (ESM) offers the following undergraduate and graduate programs:

  • Bachelor’s Program in Business Administration
