Bachelor’s Program in Law - Description

The objective of the Free University of Tbilisi Bachelor’s Program in Law is to equip graduates with fundamental knowledge and practical skills necessary to secure competitive positions in the labor market, navigate evolving legal landscapes and engage in development-oriented initiatives.

Within the program, students acquire broad theoretical knowledge and gain real-life practical experience in all areas of law. Additionally, they develop professional communication skills in English through legal English courses. They also learn the principles of lawyer ethics and legal writing techniques.

The student chooses study courses (specialty electives module) and prepares a bachelor's thesis according to his interests. In addition, he has the opportunity to participate in international mock competitions (in the module of voluntary elective subjects) with the funding of the Knowledge Fund.

The program allows students to select courses from the Field of Study Electives module and complete a bachelor's thesis based on their interests. Additionally, students have the opportunity to engage in international mock competitions, funded by the Knowledge Fund, as part of the Elective Courses module.

Upon successful completion of the 4-year program, the graduate is awarded the qualification - Bachelor of Law.

A student enrolled in Bachelor’s Program in Law has the option to select any minor offered by the university and can obtain additional specialization within four years of the program. For instance, if a student opts for the Business and Finance minor program, upon graduation, they receive the primary qualification of Bachelor of Laws along with an additional specialization in Business and Finance.
