SCHOOL OF GOVERNANCE AND SOCIAL SCIENCES

The Bachelor’s Program in Governance and Social Sciences - Description

The Bachelor’s Program in Governance and Social Sciences is based on the principle of liberal education, according to which, students study not only the fundamentals of social sciences and humanities, but also design their own program based on their preferences and interests and delve into specific areas of social sciences in greater detail. For this purpose, the program allocates credits for elective subjects within the specialty.

In addition to providing a broad education in the social sciences and humanities, the program allows students to focus on deepening their knowledge in political science, economics, psychology, anthropology, sociology and cultural studies.

Throughout all four years, the educational process is primarily structured around interactive lectures, utilizing the renowned teaching method known as the Socratic method. In contrast to traditional monologue lectures, this approach enables in-depth discussions of texts and problems under consideration, fostering maximum interaction between the lecturer and the student.

Upon successful completion of the 4-year program, the graduate is awarded the qualification - Bachelor of Social Sciences.
