ბიოგრაფია

მოღვაწეობს თბილისის თავისუფალ უნივერსიტეტში და დუისბურგ-ესენის უნივერსიტეტის ინჟინერიის ფაკულტეტზე - ზოგადი და თეორიული ელექტრო ინჟინერიის ლაბორატორიაში (ATE) და CENIDE - ნანოინტეგრაციის ცენტრში/The Center of Nanointegraton Duisburg-Essen (გერმანია). 

მისი სამეცნიერო კვლევა ეფუძნება ელექტრომაგნიტური ტალღების თეორიას, ანალიზურ დარიცხვით მეთოდებს, მიკროტალღურ და ოპტიკურ დიაპაზონში მომუშავე ფოტონურ-კრისტალურ მოწყობილობებს და საკომუნიკაციო სისტემებს.

იგი არის OSA (Optical Society of America) და IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers)-ის (აშშ) Senior Member. მან 2004 წელს მიიღო იაპონიის ელექტრო ინჟინერიის ინსტიტუტის (Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan) ჯილდო სამეცნიერო ნაშრომისთვის და URSI-ის ახალგაზრდა მეცნიერის (Young Scientist Award) ჯილდო 2010 წელს.

ის არის ორი ფულბრაიტის ჯილდოს მფლობელი University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, აშშ, 2015-2016 წლებში და Pennsylvania State University, აშშ, 2021 წელს. ასევე, არის Alexander von Humboldt ჯილდოს მფლობელი დუისბურგ-ესენის უნივერსიტეტში, გერმანია (2016-2018 წლებში).
