ფიზიკის სტუდენტთა საერთაშორისო კონფერენციის (ICPS 2024) ფარგლებში 7 აგვისტოს კახა ბენდუქიძის კამპუსში მეცნიერმა ულფ-გ. მაისნერმა წაიკითხა ლექცია თემაზე: The Atomic Nucleus as a Quantum Laboratory.

ულფ-გ. მაისნერი არის თეორიული ფიზიკის პროფესორი ბონის უნივერსიტეტში და Institute for Advanced Simulation, Forschungszentrum Jülich დირექტორი. მისი კვლევა ფოკუსირებულია ძლიერი ურთიერთქმედების ფიზიკაზე, განსაკუთრებით ბირთვულ და ნაწილაკების ფიზიკაზე. მას მიენიჭა ევროპის ფიზიკის საზოგადოების ლიზა მაიტნერის სახელობის პრემია. ის არის ERC Advanced Grant ''Emergent Complexity from Strong Interactions (EXOTIC)'' მფლობელი 2020 წლიდან.

As part of the International Conference of Physics Students (ICPS 2024), distinguished scientist Ulf-G Meißner delivered a lecture titled "The Atomic Nucleus as a Quantum Laboratory" on August 7th at the Kakha Bendukidze Campus.

Ulf-G Meißner is Professor in Theoretical Physics at Bonn University, Germany and Director at the Institute for Advanced Simulation, Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany. His research focuses on strong interaction physics, especially nuclear and particle physics. He was awarded the Lise-Meitner prize of the European Physical Society. He is the hoder of ERC Advanced Grant ''Emergent Complexity from Strong Interactions (EXOTIC)'' since 2020.
