Objectives of the Programme:

Business is a very dynamic field, operating in a constantly changing environment. Challenges of free markets exist on local as well as on global level, and intensive competition sets high standards and requirements for professionals in the business field.

The goal of this program is to prepare graduates to participate in strategic decision-making and management, as well as in tactical decisions. Graduates should also be able to analyse situations, fulfil assigned tasks and manage business projects.

The objective of Bachelor Programme in Business Administration at Free University of Tbilisi is to rise professionals who will:      

  • be able to easily adapt in variable environments, identify challenges and react in a timely manner;
  • have critical and creative thinking skills and seek for innovation;
  • always strive for self-improvement;
  • be able to establish professional communications with counterparts and use various technology and specific techniques in managing process;
  • respect private ownership and act according to the principles of market economy.

The educational programme provides all the necessary conditions and resources for students to acquire not only academic and technical skills, but also personal skills to start and develop the career in a business field. 


Career Options:

After completing the programme, graduates will be able to pursue analytical and managerial work in the following spheres: finances, marketing, HR, operations, development of technological products and in other areas. Graduates will have initial skills for starting and managing business start-ups, and for establishing a partnership with potential investors.

  • use mathematical methods.

Specific Competences:

  • understanding the nature of businesses, knowledge of business activities, opportunities, limitations and challenges;
  • knowledge of the business-environment and factors affecting it;
  • understanding of market relationships and principles of competition;
  • understanding of the nature of business transactions and knowledge of its accompanying processes; 
  • knowledge to use business supporting tools such as statistic methods, financial accounting, Microsoft Excel, data analysis, basic techniques for negotiation, leadership and decision making;
  • knowledge of core business tools such as financial analysis, corporate finance, marketing management, strategic and human resource management, operations management, managerial accounting, project management;
  • knowledge of functional fields of business such as finances, marketing, technology and operations management;
  • use of proper terminology;
  • ability to put theoretical knowledge to practice.
