ფიზიკის სტუდენტთა 38-ე საერთაშორისო კონფერენცია იხსნება 4 აგვისტოს

თბილისის თავისუფალი უნივერსიტეტი ამაყობს, რომ თავის კურსდამთავრებულებთან ერთად აორგანიზებს ფიზიკის სტუდენტთა 38-ე საერთაშორისო კონფერენციას (ICPS 2024) საქართველოში.

4-11 აგვისტოს საქართველოს ფიზიკოს სტუდენტთა ასოციაციის (GAPS) და თბილისის თავისუფალი უნივერსიტეტის ორგანიზებით იმართება ფიზიკის სტუდენტთა საერთაშორისო 38-ე კონფერენცია კახა ბენდუქიძის კამპუსში.

პირველად კონფერენცია ჩატარდა ბუდაპეშტში 1986 წელს. ამ მომენტიდან მოყოლებული, ათობით ქვეყანა მასპინძლობდა ღონისძიებას ათწლეულების განმავლობაში, წელს პირველად კი საქართველო.

კონფერენციის ფარგლებში ფიზიკით დაინტერესებული ასობით სტუდენტი ეწვევა საქართველოს მთელი მსოფლიოდან, სადაც მათ საშუალება ექნებათ დაესწრონ სამეცნიერო მოხსენებებს, ვორქშოფებს, პანელურ დისკუსიებს, სტუდენტური სამეცნიერო პოსტერების გამოფენას და მოუსმინონ მსოფლიოს ისეთ წამყვან მეცნიერებს, როგორებიც არიან: გია დვალი, ზურაბ გეგუჩია, ანდრია როგავა, Stefaan Poedts, Anamaria Font, Lena Funcke, Ulf-G. Meißner, Ilya Nemenman, Giuliano Chiriacò, Adam J. Finley.

გარდა სამეცნიერო ნაწილისა, კონფერენციის ფარგლებში დაგეგმილია სხვადასხვა კულტურული და სოციალური აქტივობა, რათა ხელი შეეწყოს საქართველოს გაცნობას უცხოელი მკვლევარებისა და სტუდენტებისათვის.

ფიზიკის სტუდენტთა საერთაშორისო 38-ე კონფერენციის მხარდამჭერები არიან კახა ბენდუქიძის ცოდნის ფონდი, კომპანია კოკა-კოლა ბოთლერს ჯორჯია და შოთა რუსთაველის საქართველოს ეროვნული სამეცნიერო ფონდი.

The Free University of Tbilisi is honored to organize the 38th International Conference of Physics Students (ICPS 2024), generously supported by its distinguished alumni.

This esteemed event will take place from August 4-11 at the Kakha Bendukidze Campus and is co-hosted by the Georgian Association of Physics Students (GAPS) in collaboration with the university.

First initiated in Budapest in 1986, the ICPS has historically served as a seminal assembly, hosted by various nations across the decades. This year, Georgia proudly hosts the conference for the first time, marking a significant milestone in its scientific community.

The conference will gather hundreds of students worldwide, united by a passion for physics. The agenda is packed with academic activities including scientific presentations, engaging workshops, and panel discussions. A special feature of the conference is the student scientific poster exhibition, highlighting innovative research. Esteemed scientists such as Gia Dvali, Zurab Geguchia, Andria Rogava, Stefaan Poedts, Anamaria Font, Lena Funcke, Ulf-G. Meißner, Ilya Nemenman, Giuliano Chiriacò, and Adam J. Finley will offer their insights and latest research findings.

In addition to its rigorous academic program, the conference will host a range of cultural and social events designed to enhance the participants' experience of Georgian culture and encourage international networking.
